  • Reading: So Long and Thanks for all the Fish
  • Watching: Beetlejuice
  • Playing: Pokemon Crystal

  • Drinking: Coke Zero
EDIT: The 2 Freebie spots have now been nabbed, but we still have spots open in the ultra-cheap commissions.

You know you want to read this.

=Wolf-Fairy and I have decided to reduce the prices of our next three commissions (they may be from either of us) to just $2 for a pic. They will be in black and white (or possibly grayscale for mine if it is a warped alien design) and may contain up to three characters. If you wish for the image to be in a different medium or for more than three characters then it will cost extra, but at a significant discount. A price will be suggested once all the details for a more complex image are stated, and we'll see if you still want to go ahead with the commission then. Alien commissions (one from =Wolf-Fairy and one from myself) will also cost just $2 each, but only for one character.

After the three $2 commission spots are filled commissions will return to normal price.

Commission spots:

1. :icongirs-twisted-double: {Paid}
2.
3.

Uber Rant Time

Sun Nov 1, 2009, 9:53 AM

  • Reading: So Long and Thanks for all the Fish
  • Watching: Beetlejuice

Because I hate having quiz journals displayed on my page.

Anyways. Didn't do much this week. Except watch 'The Vampire's Assistant' and '9' at the cinema.
Okay, major rant time.

The Darren Shan saga is one of my favourite series of books in the world. It is wonderful and beautiful and utterly unputdownable. When I first started buying the books I bought and read all twelve in the space of a couple of weeks. I'd literally buy one, get home, read it, then pop down to the stores a couple hours later to buy the next one. I've read the whole lot at least twelve times in total. I recommend them to anyone with any interest whatsoever in reading fiction, especially those with an interest in reading vampire books that don't turn out like the god-awful 'Twilight' series by Stephenie Meyer, who in my personal opinion can't write for shit.

And so I was ecstatic to find out, well over a year ago now, that a movie adaptation was in the works. I was thrilled by the prospect of seeing all the characters I've come to adore being brought to life on the big screen. Charl was too. In fact, we've both been eagerly anticipating this film for ages now.

And then the trailers came out. And the excitement just fled. But still I held out hope.

And then I saw the movie.

...

Just no.

NO

Paul Weitz, what did you do?!

((MAJOR SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT))

To be fair to him, he kept relatively close to the plot of the first book, but that's all the film had going for it. Well, that and Madam Octa's adorable face. It was supposed to follow the plot of the first three books of the saga. It stuck nearish to the plot of the first, and then everything went to pot. Where's Mr.Tiny's signiture attire? Why is Evra obsessed with music? Why is Cormac Limbs suddenly Corma Limbs? Why aren't the Vampaneze purple? Why is Steve recruited by them from the get go? Why is Truska having visions all the time? Why can she talk english perfectly all of a sudden? What the hell was wrong with Debbie? Why has Debbie, a completely normal black girl who knew nothing of Darren's status as a half-vampire, been replaced by some random white girl with a monkey tail named Rebecca? And what in the hell happened to Harkat?! How do they all know his name, why does he look like a scrunchy-faced midget, and why can't he talk? Furthermore, why do the little people suddenly have noses and lack masks?

And there are many more questions, but then I'd give the ENTIRE RIDICULOUS PLOT away.

The movie seems to be somewhat of a bomb at the moment, and I seriously hope it gets so many bad reviews that they forgoe ruining the REST of the saga.

On the plus side, 9 was amazing.

I'd already seen it, granted, but still. This is one movie that deserves the big screen. Utterly fabulous. I recommend it to anyone with a theatre and enough spare change for a ticket on hand. Go see it! See it twice! You won't regret it!

But yeah. Basically, if you have no appreciation for good fiction, or have never read the amazingness that is the books, then you may find 'The Vampire's Assistant' tolerable. Because that's who this film was really made for. People who can't be bothered to read.

For people who have read the books, please, don't dignify the movie by watching it, unless you only intend to watch so you can mock it properly afterwards. Don't go into the theatre holding out some false hope that, really, it won't be all that bad. You will only be disappointed.

Good, now that's mostly out of my system. I still think Paul Weitz should never be able to come within miles of any of the remaining books, any screenplay or any filming equiptment ever again.

Oh, and Dundee university have accepted me! >w<
Granted, it's conditional, so i have to get certain grades, but it would be the same deal anywhere.
But yeah, so long as I get the grades, they're garunteed to accept me!
:XD:
Now I'm just waiting for replies from the remaining 4 universities I've applied to.

Ah well. That's it from me. Hope you all had a good halloween!

Thought I'd do this for the hell of it, even if it isn't likely to get read :meow:

Stolen from :iconwolf-fairy:

Love, and what has to do with it

Are you currently looking for a significant other? Why or why not?
No, I don't want one.

Have you ever been in love with someone before? Who?
No.

Do you like being single more, rather than being taken?
I've never been taken, nor do I want to be. That's a funny way to phrase it too. The word 'Taken' suggests alien abduction. If that's what you mean, then that'd actually be pretty fun. So long as they hold off on the probing and have internet access and McDonalds double cheeseburgers.

If you have a significant other, do your friends like that person?
I ALREADY SAID NO!

Do you like kisses or hugs better? Or do you like both?
I have this hang up about kissing people, even if it is only friendly. Just no. Hugs are wonderful

Have you ever had your heartbroken before? Who broke it?
NO.
I've had to reject people before, but to be honest with most of them I reckon we were all still too young to properly feel heartbroken.

How long do you think it takes to fall in love with someone?
Pfft, iuno. Not at first sight. It's an impossibility by love's very definition. People who believe in love at first sight are ignorant in my opinion, at least on that subject. It's a nice idea, but has no hold on reality. Lets leave it for movies and romance novels, yes?

Is there a person of the opposite sex out there who gives you butterflies?
No, but it would be nice, I love insects ;P.
Personally I prefer bees.
I can add them to my collection.
:iconbeeplz:

Do you usually throw around the world love to different people?
Of course. Especially Vegas and Mexico.
Favouritism~

Which is more important; personality or good looks? Why?
Personality.
Anyone can be good looking.
I like good people. Not good looking people with all the personality of a stale breadstick.

What is the one thing that turns you on the most with the opposite sex?
When they're doing one another.
Gay sex!
Other than that, no turn ons that relate to my opposite gender specifically.

What is the one thing that turns you off the most about the opposite sex?
Players, Chavs, racists, homophobes, sexists, people who follow their religion blindly without allowing themselves to form their own opinion on matters etc. Not just the opposite sex. Anyone like that. And people who are sex crazy. Liking sex is fine, but you dont want someone who's only out to appease their hormones.

Have you ever fallen asleep in someone's arms before?
I've fallen asleep most places. Today it was on Michelle (my rucksack - an admittedly common occurance). I'm sure sleeping in someone's arms has popped up somewhere along the line.

What is the most attractive eye color in the opposite sex?
Pfft, I don't have a personal preference. Maybe different to my own, so not blue, simply because I have to stare into blue every day and it'd be nice to see another colour greet me for a change, but it doesn't really matter.

Would you say the world revolves around the concept of love?
No. It revolves in an orbit around the Sun. Are Physics lessons a foreign concept to you?

What is the sweetest way for someone to tell you they like you?
By themselves, and when you aren't suspecting it. Grow a spine people. I hate it when I've been asked out by people through other people in the past, and hate when I'm in turn asked to ask someone out on the behalf of a friend. Dear goodness - if you can't even suck up the guts to look each other in the eye and say you want to test the waters as a couple, what the hell kind of hope does your relationship have?!

FYI, my answer is always NO.

Have you ever cheated on a significant other/been cheated on?
Never had one, and if I did and they cheated on me I'd kill them.

Would you say you're a very romantic person in general?
No. I can't even take compliments or react well in social situations. I have a tendancy to insult people, then immediately afterwards tell them I love them. Not very romantic, but my friend's get the message :3.

Is there a member of the opposite sex that makes you cry a lot?
I don't cry unless in EXTREME PAIN. I can't recall crying for anything emotional for a good many years.

Who was the first person you've ever kissed before?
I don't kiss people.

Does the voice of the person you like, soothe you in any way?
I don't like people like that D:<

What is the most romantic thing you've ever experienced?
Once my friend told me I was one of his three favourite people in class.
It was so romantic!!!
:XD:
Okay, I kid.
Uhm, no idea, I'm not the kind of person people try to be romantic with ;P
Wolfeh is romantic though, in her own ultra-sweet naive way. Z will back me up here!

Ever kiss someone in the rain or under water? When?
WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT KISSING?!

Are you very personal when it comes to relationship details?
I'm never in relationships. But if I was, I doubt I would be, unless it was meant to be kept between us.

If you're in a relationship, does the person make you happy?
The person would have to make me happy for me to get into a relationship with them in the first place. What kind of backwards world do you live in?

Have you ever had a song completely describe your love life?
NO.

What is the worst thing someone can do to ruin a relationship?
I think lies are acceptable in a relationship, to an extent.
For instance, lying about a surprise, or perhaps the odd little thing is to be expected in any form of relationship. The thing I think is the worst is an extreme breach of trust, by breaking a vow with the person or cheating on them.

Are you drifting away from someone you truly love?
No.

Have you ever made sacrifices for someone you love?
Yes.

Friendship, the people who know you best

Who, would you say, if you had to choose, is your best friend?
Wolfeh Wolfeh Wolfeh Wolfeh >//W//< *shnuggle* :glomp::heart:

Do you have a few close friends or many distant friends?
Many close friends and a few distant. I wuv you guys, why can't you all move to England? ;A;

Has there ever been a time where you had no friends at all?
No.

Do you have any life-long friends? Who are they anyway?
The Trio is forever >w<
And I hope a lot of the ones I have now, though I get the very bad feeling that we won't see much of one another once we all start popping off to jobs and uni next year.

Do any of your friends know all there is to know about you?
Wolfeh and Z know a lot more than anyone else, and my other close friends know a fair amount. I tend not to bottle myself up and not share with my friends, I just find my own company a tad boring and don't talk all the time, so they don't hear as much about me as they would otherwise (plus I sleep a lot at school during those lovely free periods ;P)

Do a lot of people tend to like your personality? Why do you think that is?
I don't know. My friends all say they like me. I think it's just me that can't stand my company a lot of the time. Personally I think my friends must be very tolerant to be capable of putting up with me nyon every day.

Has a friend ever stabbed you in the back in a bad way?
I don't think a friend has, no. And I don't have any now I think would ever do that to me. I love them all so much

How often would you say you hang out with friends?
I see a lot of them every school day, and then I get to chat to them and others on weekends online, or sometimes even get to go to parties with them. All in all I see them a lot, certainly often enough for me. Lots of social time plus sime time to myself :3.

Have you ever had a friend steal your significant other?
Never had a significant other, so no.

How and where did you meet your first best friend?
Reception, first year of infant school, when I was five. I love you Zott. Technically she still is one of my two best friends. I don't see her often, or talk to her often, since she lives up north, but when we do chat you can tell nothing's changed between us and we're still as tight as ever, though I wish dearly she still lived down here D:.

Have you ever promised to be friends with someone forever, then broke it?
Don't think so.

Do you and your friends have a lot of things in common?
I'm not the easiest person in the world to get along with. We need things in common if there's to be any hope of us tolerating one another for more than a few minutes apiece.

Do you ever share clothes with any of your friends? Who?
No.

Are most of your close friends in the same grade as you?
Yes.

Do your friends ever tend to start arguments with you?
Occasionally, and usually joke ones. Tis fun :3.

Would you say you have trust issues with a bunch of people?
I have lots of trust issues. I find it very hard to trust people. It's easy to make friends, but to become close to those friends, to trust them completely? No. There are only a couple of people in the world I would say I trust completely, a few others I trust more or less completely, and then the rest of my friends, who I trust, but wouldn't trust with everything. It doesn't mean I love you any less.

Do you like meeting new people? Why do you or why do you not?
Depends on who the person is. For instance, I hate meeting a new chav (or any chav), unless I'm feeling particularly grouchy that morning/afternoon and need someone to have a good yell at.

Would you trust your best friend with your life? Why?
Yes. Wolfeh is one of the select people I DO trust completely >w< :glomp:

Have your friends ever pressured you into doing something bad?
Nothing really bad as such, I have good people for friends, but perhaps the odd ridiculous thing when I was a little younger (dares and stuff)

Would you do anything in the world to save your best friend's life?
Undoubtedly

Have you ever had a friend move to a different state/country?
Yes.

Would you say that any of your friends are annoying?
Everyone's annoying in their own way. All of my friends have the potential to be annoying. But I love them to pieces regardless.

Do you normally tell your best friend you love him/her?
ALL THE TIME.
Love you wolfeh :glomp:
And you Z :glomp:
And you Charl :glomp:
And you Leslie :petting:
...
Well I can hardly glomp a giant millipede, I'd crush him! D:

Do you have more guy friends or girl friends? Why is this?
Used to be more guy friend's, but it's about 50-50 now.

Do you like the same kind of music that your best friend does?
Eh, varies. For instance, we both love Scrubs songs and stuff like that, but she loves High School Musical, whereas I hate it with a passion.

Do you always take random pictures with your friends?
I'm not much of a camera person.

Did you meet the majority of your friends at school?
Yes.

Have you ever wanted to end a friendship, when they didn't?
Yes. Only when I was younger though. I love all my friends now.

Ever have a friend turn into an actual stalker?
Not as far as I recall. Only J's friends do that ;P

Music, the lyrics to your life

What is your favorite song in the history of music?
No idea. I like a lot, but my favourite changes often.

Do you have a favorite band? If so, tell me who it is?
Eh, not as such, though I have many I adore, like The Offspring, Greenday, Three Days Grace and Lost Prophets

What is your favorite genre of music? Who got you interested in it?
I got myself interested in it.
Actually, it was Blink 182. They were the first band I ever liked.
And that would be rock, alternative, punk, metal etc. Though that isn't to say I don't like a good deal of songs outside of the rock genre.

Have you ever had a song completely explain your life?
No.

Have you ever wanted to be in a band? What position?
Not really, but if I was i'd probably play the drums or something. They're more fun than guitars ;P

Do you personally think you're a good singer? Why or why not?
No. This voice and music don't mix. Plus, I'm tone deaf, so just no.

What instruments can you play, if you can play any at all?
Used to play piano. The only song I can still play is 'Home on the Range'

Do you ever listen to acoustic music? Is it one of your favorites?
Yes, and eh, its okay.

Would you say you listen to a lot of mainstream music?
Eh.

A Greenday one and an Offspring one. I love them

Have you ever wanted to be like the lead singer of a band?
No. Stage Fright.

What songs/music do you mostly sing in the shower?
I try not to sing in the shower, it echos so I can actually hear my own voice ¬¬

No.

What is the current ringtone on your cell phone? Why did you choose it?
Three Days Grace - Never too Late

How many songs do you have on your iPod or MP3 player?
About 600 at the moment. I haven't put all my music on it yet ¬¬

How many pairs of headphones do you have? What color are they?
1 working, white.

Do you listen to music because it tends to soothe your soul?
Not usually, its just fun. And I love background noise (unless I'm typing or writing).

In your life, have you ever been interested in screamo music?
Not really.

Does the music you listen to reflect your stereotype/label?
I am not a label ¬¬
But as a Brit? I don't think so. Is a Brit who listens to rock a stereotype?

If I went in your room right now, would there be music playing?
Yes, I'm listening to my ring tone right now, come back later.

Would you ever want to learn to play the drums?
It'd be fun, and maybe if it was for free, but I don't have the money for it or the energy half the time.

What's your least favorite type of music you can think of?
Rap. Very few rap things I like.

Do your parents listen to the same type of music you do?
Not really. Mum listens to Rascal Flatts too I guess...

Has anyone ever called the music you listen to 'noise?'
Yes.

Are you someone who likes to dance when music is playing?
I'm too lazy to dance. Only if it's the caramelldansen ;P

Do you think techno music is great or just annoying?
It's okay, depends really.

How many concerts have you been to in your life?
One, but not since I was very young. it isn't really my scene, but if Offspring ever do another one round here I may go to that ;P

What was your favorite concert you've ever went to?
I only have one to choose from ¬¬

Who was the first band you've ever seen live? Were they good?
I don't remember what they were called, it was a LONG time ago, but it was good, I think.

School

What is your favorite class in school this year?
Biology, as always

What is your least favorite class in school this year?
Hmm. Tricky. Core 3 maths is very hard, but Chemistry has gotten a lot harder too since AS. I like both subjects though, so I can't really say I have a least favourite.

Have you met any new friends this year in school?
A couple.

Do you like school, or do you not really enjoy it?
Well, since it is now my choice to go to school and I'm not being forced to by law any more, it would kind of silly for me to stay if I didn't enjoy it, now wouldn't it?

What's your favorite aspect about your school life?
My friends and biology. I can't wait for uni >w<

Who sits in front of you in your first period class?
I don't have the same first lesson each day

Who sits beside of you in your fifth period class?
I don't have the same last lesson each day

Who sits behind you in your seventh period class?
I pity those people who actually have more than 5 periods a day. You poor souls.

Have you ever been a victim of bullying at school?
Only little bits when I was in primary school, but nothing too big, and nothing since.

Have you ever been considered a bully at your school before?
No, but I insult my friends often (followed by fervent and frequent 'I love you's)

How many fights have you ever been in at your school?
None really at this one, and only play fights in my primary school. I'm good in a tussle :3

How many years have you been going to the school you're going to now?
Second year of 6th form college (and last), but technically its still part of my secondary school, so this is my 7th year.

Would you say you're very well-known at your current school?
Relatively well known, not so much to the younger years.

How many nasty rumors have been spread about you at your school?
None that I can think of off the top of my head.

What would the people at your school most likely label you as?
They don't tend to label me, though I have been referred to as the semi-recluse who sleeps in the corner ;P. I'm not really a recluse, but the title amuses me ;P.

What is your current locker number? Do you like it's location?
No locker, Michelle can carry all my books no problem :3

Do you get in-school suspension or detention a lot?
No.

Would you say you're just prone to getting in trouble?
No.

Do a lot of the teachers you have hate you for no reason?
No.
Except my year 9 food tech teacher.
I hated Ms. Powell, but only because she hated my little sister and I for no reason.

Do you hate any of your teachers for any certain reasons?
Hate is such a strong word. I just greatly dislike how one certain teacher gets us to copy out pages from the textbook without giving us extra notes, and expects us to understand and be great at everything despite not really teaching us anything ¬¬

Do you ever turn in your homework late or not turn it in at all?
Sometimes, yes, but usually I get it in on time.

What is your average grade, as of now, in your math class?
C/B

What classes are you taking this year anyways?
Biology, Chemistry and Maths

Do you understand a lot of the classes you're currently taking?
I always understand Biology. Maths and Chemistry not so much, but it isn't foreign ground to me, and I should be fine by exam time

Do exams normally get on your nerves, or do you not mind them?
*dies*

Which one do you choose; essays or hands-on projects?
Hmm, tricky. Depends on the subject. If it's writing about a past event or a large subject area, then an essay. I tend to do well in those. For something more mathematical or analytical, a project/experiment is preferential.

How many times have you been to the principal's office this year?
I'm not sure I even know where it is.

Have you ever got suspended or expelled because of something?
Never.

How many days have you missed this year, so far at least?
None so far :3.

Just some basic things about yourself

What would you say is your absolute favorite color?
Khaki

Do you like television or the internet better? Why?
Internets ~
Because it's the best thing ever, right up top with gay sex :XD:

Also my 2 watch, green and black bracelet from wolfeh and skull armband.

Which decade were you born in? Did you like that decade at all?
Early 90's.
I loved the cartoons.
We are the Animaniacs~

What would you say is your favorite food?

Do you get jealous really easily? What do you mostly get jealous over?

Not often, but on occasion, yes

I hate reality tv.
HATE. HATE! HAAAATTTTEEEE!!!!

If you have a job right now, what is it and why did you choose it?

:iconwolf-fairy: has agreed to the collaborative alien pics, so we're open for buisness on that front too now :3.
So that's $10 for the two pics, and an additional $1 for each extra person :3.
Also, I'm altering my prices slightly. Changing everything to dollars (£5 -> $5) to make it cheaper for everyone.

Hello, one and all.

Though highly doubtful that anyone will bother to buy any, I've decided to do commissions. Any money I earn through them is going towards what :iconwolf-fairy: is saving up for with her commissions (go buy one, her art is amazing), and will go straight to her, since it's a goal I also aim to strive towards.

All commissions will be done in the traditional art form, since my current tablet doesn't work on either of my laptops and I don't want to have to keep logging onto my main computer to use it. Plus then I can always work on them at school during my many free periods. I will be getting a new tablet for Christmas, however, and should I become better at inking digitally then I may open those up too.

Commissions will cost $5 each, and payments are to be made over paypal.com (paypal will be able to convert that amount into dollars etc. I believe $5 is currently about £3.50). These will be full-body sketches, and each additional individual will cost an extra $1 (about £0.70). You may specify an art medium of your choice, though I only work in normal graphite pencil, fineliners, brush pens (black and grey - no colour) or water colour pencils/paints.

The option of Acrylic paints may be opened in future should I ever get myself back into practise with them, though these will cost extra due to the price of the paints.

If a medium is not specified the sketch will be either outlined in brush pen or in fineliner (only black brush pen or black fineliner - no shading/crosshatching). Colour will cost extra, unless it is necessary to differentiate between the characters (e.g. in the commission I have recently bought from :iconwolf-fairy:, I asked for us and our friend Z to be dressed as a Star Trek red, blue and yellow shirt respectively. Thus, the shirts will have to be coloured to differentiate us, though the rest will remain blank (unless Wolfeh is feeling particularly generous, though I shall not be)), in which case I will not ask for any more money.

If grey brush pens are also wanted for shading a picture, you must tell me so. This will cost an additional $0.50 (about £0.35) per individual (on top of the $1 normal cost for an added person), simply because I will have no spare grey cartriges for my grey brush pens (unlike my black), and will have to buy a new set should they run out. This extra $0.50 will go towards that.

The use of watercolour paints will cost an additional $2 overall (not per character, just overall), and the use of watercolour pencils (which arent as good) will cost an additional $1 overall.

I dislike colouring pencils, as does my scanner. Thus it is doubtful you will be able to goad me into using them.

A simple pencil sketch (no inking or shading) will cost $5 overall, and you may have up to three individuals in a pencil sketch before I start charging you more (so a 1 person pencil sketch = $5, and a two/three person pencil sketch also = $5). After that it will again cost you an additional $1 per individual.

Those who do not specify a medium (and so get an inked drawing) or specify inking/painting will be emailed a scanned image of the pencil sketch to make sure it is what they're looking for before I ink it.

Refunds will be given if the person cancels their commission after paying for it, so long as I have not begun inking/painting their commission, in which case tough beans.

Backgrounds will not be drawn/painted unless specified. I will discourage this, though. I am not a very patient person when it comes to drawing backgrounds, and thus I easily muck them up or make them appear otherwise inadequate. Backgrounds will cost an extra $2, but again, please try not to ask for one.

As far as the drawing itself goes, I am happy to draw yaoi, yuri, het, whatever. Make sure by checking with me or rooting through my gallery that I will be able to draw what it is you desire before paying for the commission. I am happy to draw fursonas, pokemon, dragons etc. but some things are beyond me. Especially certain styles. Unless it is one of my own, do try not to specify a style, or I am likely to muck it up e.g. with anime.

Though I have no problem with nudity/hentai, I will not draw any for a commission. For one, I do not feel I have had adequate practise drawing either, and thus would muck up the pic, and secondly I wouldn't be able to post it on dA, which would kind of suck.

Finally, I am willing to do alien sketches of people's fursonas. This will involve :iconwolf-fairy: doing her version of the alien pic (still only an inked sketch - no colour) and then me drawing the warped, somewhat more animalistic version of her design (again, inked). In effect, you get two pics. As such, this is more expensive, and will cost you $10 (about £7.50). Other individuals may be added, but only to the same pic, so you still only get two pics in the end. This will cost an extra $1 per person (about £0.70). The money may be paid to either of us.

I will, if preferred, draw just warped alien versions of people's fursonas, for the usual price of $5, and an extra $1 for each added individual.

I am willing to work on 5 commissions at any one time, and will give you regular updates as to their status.

Payments are to be made before the commission is started

Summary
Prices:
Normal sketch (unspecified medium) : $5, plus an additional $1 per added individual
Prices for Specified Mediums:
Pencil sketch: $5 for up to 3 individuals, an additional $1 for each individual after that
Plain Fineliner/Plain Brush Pen: Same as Normal Sketch
Black and Grey brush pens: $5.50, plus an additional $1.50 per added individual
Watercolour Paints: Normal rates per person ($5 for 1 person, an additional $1 for each extra), plus an extra $2 overall
Watercolour Pencils: Normal rates per person ($5 for 1 person, an additional $1 for each extra), plus an extra $1 overall

Special sketches:
Warped Alien Sketch (plain fineliner/brush pen): $5, plus an additional $1 per added individual
Collaborative Alien Sketches: $10, plus an additional $1 per added individual
Warped Alien Sketch (black and grey brush pen): $5.50, plus an additional $1.50 per added individual

Do tell me if you find these prices unreasonable, though really I don't think they're that bad, I've seen people with commission prices almost ridiculously higher. You could also ask :iconwolf-fairy: for a commission, who's prices are the same as mine for a Normal Sketch (inked, no colour).

Figured I'd get a subscription.

Since I finally sorted out paypal a few weeks back I figured I may as well give it a go, but decided to be stubborn and kept putting it off. I hate seeing that 'needs premium membership' thing everytime I look at my page, and so, being the stubborn little git I am, kept angrily thinking 'no, I bloody well don't NEED your stupid premium membership' and put it off. Again, and again, and again.

But I did want to give it a go at some point to see if I preferred it, so I finally resolved to NOT look at that disgusting little note on my page and just went for it.

I'll only be subscribing for three months at a time anyways. I'd hate to pay for a years worth, then do something ridiculous and get kicked off dA. I don't trust myself not to.

Plus I wanted to play with stamps :meow:.

Also, on another note. Has anyone seen the movie '9'? If not, go do so. It's amazing. I've only been able to see it online, since it isn't out here in England till the 28th October, but I love it to bits. Can't wait till it's in the cinemas here finally, I'm so looking forward to seeing it on the big screen, probably multiple times. Goodness Mr.Acker, you and Burton should have started making movie man-babies years ago :iconiloveyouplz:.

Oh, and my Artist's Edition of 'Bear Nuts Volume 1: The Book Of Prozac' finally arrived, along with my free Evil sticker and Death sketch (which I shall laminate and frame so it lasts forever :iconimhappiestplz:). If you don't read the comic, then please do so, Alison Acton's a genius >w<.
